Got a text from 1-301-636-7717. The message was a split message, (two separate texts), with the first part starting out, "(1/2) good day mate i will like to know if your Tractor is still valid for sale? If so get back to me through my private email (richardgee91 AT gmail DOT" and the second message was, "(2/2) com) asap" I may be being too skeptical, but I just sent a message back, "I still have it. Please give email address again." All of that was on July 6th. I got another message this morning, "can you send me the pics plz? Sent free via www.TextNow.com." I sent another message, "Call me please."

Obviously, he has a computer of some sort with internet capabilities to view the YT website, and his message indicates that he can receive emails. He has a phone of some sort with the ability to text. Why doesn't he just call? If I'm making a deal on something, I like to talk to people and hear their voice. Something just doesn't seem right.

Just now got a message, "I wanna send the pics to my dada"

I got the same thing on about the same day. Just delete all traffic from them. I have been told that somehow you can give them access to your phone account by calling certain numbers.

Sounds just like a scam that was going around pulloff.com a few years ago from wanted section same bad English it was most likely a Nigerian scam, usually email and text ended with kind regards. I would be cautious

I would say it's a scam and don't call that # you might just get a Million Dollar phone bill.
Stay clear I had some guy trying to buy a tractor from me a few years ago, bad English all the same garbage. I told him I was going to report him, never heard from him again.

Just my 2 cents. Jeff

I would be careful, DO NOT call him, although 301 is a Maryland area code it could be forwarded to one of those Carribean sites that charge hundreds of dollars a minute. If you want to talk to him insist that he call you. I say scam, sounds like a Nigerian wrtiing it. I have gotten too many of those letters over the years and they all are written like this.

Just my personal opinion.

Jim
