I noticed yesterday that when i push down (faster) on the foot throttle that the hand throttle moves to the slow speed ( not higher RPM,s) and vica versa, push the hand throttle for fast and the foot pedal goes up, what did i do and how do i fix this? I really dont know how long it has been this way, it has a cab if that matters. Also noticed that when roading it and come to a small hill in 4th high side (powershift)that i have to shift down to 4th low side or the ole diesel wont make it. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks in advance
Bob

Bob, Sounds like the bellcrank that links the two together is upside down or on backwards or maybe both. I am not familiar with that tractor so I am just guessing. ---Derrol in Texas---

two things come mind, first does she smoke when pulling? I am guessing not, have you changed the fuel filters and checked to see if you have good fuel flow from the tank? if that does/did not help the fuel rack maybe sticking, it is behind a two sided nut on the injection pump, I am going back tp the hay field now but can post you a pic of it later and how to free it up cnt

All the filters have been replaced and had good fuel flow at the time. No smoke that i seen. That would be great if you could post it when you have time.

Bob here is the scan from the service manual on the fuel rack, one other thing I may not have mentioned is check the fuel shut off and make sure the cable has not slipped and even with the control cable's knob fully in the fuel shutoff lever on the pump may not be returning to full fuel position cnt

Thank you very much CNT. I will check the cable first, this looks simple enough to do.

thanks again
Bob
