On the later model of the 430 case there is no level plug on the side of trans.housing under the dashboard.
Does it need hytrans oil for trans.and diff ?
is all the oil levels measured by the dipstick that is located on top behind the trans.shifter lever?

item #3 is fill/dipstick

I believe the late 30 series hydraulic fill/dipstick is positioned in the same location as the 70 series tractors (see pic below). HyTran should be used for the Torque Tube/Hydraulic reservoir. The transmission/differential/rear-end should be serviced with gear lube. I use 80w90 gear lube. (See lubrication chart below). The filler opening/dipstick for that reservoir is aft of the shifter under the seat on the top of the transmission case.

thanks Joe much better than what I had, one more thing, years ago I went to Hy-Tran in the rear end also turns much easier in the winter plus mine tranfers a little from the hydraulics so I can just drain from rear end and go back to the touque/Hyd with it works foe me cnt tom
