Could someone be so kind to explain the process involved in posting pictures on here? We several pictures taken over the years on our farm and would like to share some of them with others. The problem is that I am not very proficient in computer skills. I have a scanner, just need to figure out how to put in a format that I can post, jpeg? |

| You need your pictures scanned onto your computer. When you do that on our computer the pictures are then stored on "My Pictures". You then need to "copy" the pictures to "My Documents" since most of of these free photo service will take you there automatically. I use tinypic.com and its free and you do less typing. When you use tinypic.com you then click on "Browse" and then select your picture you want to post. Then click on "Save" and then on "Upload Image" and in about 30 seconds you will get an image url similar to the this: http://i44.tinypic.com/2324der9.jpgYou then place this in the space known as the the "Optional Image URL". Its just below your message space. Dont use any symbols or any other punctuation such as these < " when posting one picture. Don't be afraid to try it you can't screw it up. You can now post 2 or pictures using the "Optional Image URL". You still need to get an image url for each picture. Here's how 2 or more pictures are posted using the Optional Image URL: Note: You only use a comma to separate the url's. http://i35.tinypic.com/saw567p.jpg,http://i45.tinypic.com/csr567d.jpg Hal

| | Hello dboll, I put the pictures that I want to post on a forum like this in Photobucket. What you really need to put a picture on this site is an address. You can also upload your pictures to this site (follow the links on the left) Tractor photos. Here is a picture that I took a couple years ago at the Gyger collection.
If you right click on the photo you should be able to see the url of where this picture is. Photobucket gives it the necessary html coding so this site can read it! Dave Olson - East Central Illinois |

| | Those 30 series tractors were nearly new in 1979. Hard to believe they are 40 plus now. In 1978 we traded a DC4 and 830 COM for a 930 and new 1070. I thought I had died and gone to Heaven! That Reo is really nice, do you still have it? |

| I painted the 48 LA two tone in 1955 and the 49 in 1958 The 48 was on gas at the time I did it. I don't have the Reo anymore but my Dads cousin does so it is still close by. |

| I always figured if you own it you can paint it the way you want to just so it isn't PINK! The big 500 is flambeau. The big 400 and the big 600 were the first true two-tone tractors. It takes much hours to get them looking that nice. |

| At the bottom of the page when you are composing your post, you will see a box that's titled: Advanced Posting Tools. Try the first option: "Select Photo" by clicking on it. Then follow the directions that are presented, i.e. click on the "Choose File" box and a box will pop up allowing you to select the picture you wish to upload. Double click that file and you then click the "Upload" box. After a few seconds, depending upon the speed of your Internet connection, your picture will show up on the right hand part of the window. If you like the looks of your "Preview" photo, just click on the "Continue" button. That should just about do it. You can, of course, preview your post and then send the works up for all of us here to see. Good luck and enjoy. PS As I was explaining the process, I uploaded a picture of my latest restoration --- a VAC 14, '54 vintage Case tractor. PPSS You should use a photo in Jpeg format that is not terribly large. Try one that is about 100K, plus or minus, in size. |
