Brought a DC home yesterday

Ever been to an auction sale and you end up buying something you didn't really plan to purchase. You bid because it's going to cheap and then you get this odd feeling that you're actually going to get it. Yea, happened again. Now I'm the proud owner of a dc-4. Brought it home yesterday. Nice tractor that's ready for parades. I've got a few things to tinker with, so I'll probably be posting questions at a later date.
 
Congrats. Kind of a surreal feeling isn’t it? That’s how I ended up with my DC3... mine wasn’t exactly parade ready though.

Curt , Yes I did , I was going to a sale to buy a SC case 1949, in fair shape. It went for more than I thought. Well there was A COMBINE next to bid on in great shape and I needed one . Well to make the story short it followed me home. Did not need to throw my hat in to see if it was safe to walk in the house this time.
 
Yes!! I went to pick up a drag saw and ended up with a DC 4 also. Don't ever leave the trailer at home!! It is a great parade tractor but it also does great at pulling and plowing. I pull a 2 16 JD plow for fun and competition. It's also fun going to a pull and beating the big green machine. Enjoy

I had couple cousins call me from a auction in PA last september. I'm in FL. They asked if I wanted another CASE? I replied I already had too many. They said it would be a really good deal on a non running complete 51 DC3. I said OK but put a $250 limit to spend. Today I pulled it here in Florida.
 
I have a "DC"3 1949 wf,&"SC"3 wf w/101 Case loader,and a "A6".Tell me about your "A"where are you located,would love to start a database on A's,my combine is a 1951.Last fall,I found and bit "1660",geez when does this end!?Heck I more in the sheds,its like a addiction!
