Case VAC Seat

Hi guys - I have recently purchased a 1945 VAC. The question I have is about the seat. It has what I believe a deluxe or special option seat, but I think is missing a part or two. It is not a pan seat, but square/flat with a back (I am sure it is original). It is also adjustable up and down, with knotches to keep it at the desired adjustment. A spring is also there, but at this time has no brace/support attached to it, so i know it is missing something. Info /picture would be a great help. If needed I can post a picture.

sounds like you are describing a vao or vah seat. didn't think the seat bill posted below was available until later. go ahead and post a picture. be interesting to see what you have.

Thanks alot for the info and pictures, but neither looks like what I have. The first one is the closest. It is a 1945 VAC, serial number clearly visible (was told it was a "war" tractor, has the steel knob). I will add a picture as soon as possible. Again thanks.
 
Bill- thanks again, but still not the one!! Maybe I have "million dollar seat", "one of a kind"!!! Or just not original- but am 99% sure it is.

This one a little closer- but on bottom of the frame the seat are notches for the adjustment. The spring is- it is hard to explain- I will have to get you a picture- again thanks for your effort.

Hey Bill, does this one show to be for the vao?

They set lower to the housing since the follr boards are lower thus putting the driver futher down in the "saddle".
