Bob 55 Ford 11-20-2009 16:01:25 75.91.96.133 148232 Report to Moderator	My VAC has an eagle hitch. When I bought it the PTO engaging lever was bent to a 90 degree angle facing to the rear. When I straightened it I noticed that it will hit the center support (turnbuckle)of the hitch and will require disconnecting the support to go from engaged to disengaged or vice-versa. This doesn't seem logical or correct. Does anyone have a picture of the Eagle hitch with something attached or have any idea what the solution is? Thanks [Reply]   [Send Email]

They rotate the opposite way to engage. The lever/shaft and the fork will interchange with the earlier units. Send me an email if you need more information.   [Reply]   [No Email]

I had to do it to allow me to engage my PTO to run my auger. Go figure!   [Reply]   [Send Email]

I'm wondering if that was installed when the hitch was put on at the dealers and the one I have is for a version without a hitch. Looking at the "Master Frame" page of the VA brochure shown a VA without a hitch and a lever similar to mine. Most I can find photo's of with the Eagle have the short lever and the pull rod. Looks like you would need to pull the PTO head or do some cutting and welding "in place".   [Reply]   [Send Email]
