Looking at one for sale. What should I look for? It has 2600 hours and looks good. Orginal paint and surface rust in spots. Looks to have been taken care of. Has diesel motor. Thanks |

| Tom has covered about everything but you can also put the loader all the way down & then tip the bucket down to raise the front wheels off the ground. Then get out of the machine & turn the front wheels front to back. That will tell you how much play is in the front chains. You can also try to lift something way to heavy for the machine until the rear wheels come off the ground & then get out of the machine & try to turn the rear wheels front to back. This will tell you how loose the rear chains are. Gerald |

| thanks for bringing up the chain play I didn't know really how to say that with out typing to much and my I ad this condition results from putting all power to one set of wheels ect; lifting front wheels off ground to get the unit to dig or cut if this makes any sense here I am talking to much again I'm sure you guy's get tired of my long post's good luck Tom |

| check to see if it has leakage on axles (behind wheels) also pin slop on bucket and loader pivot I also like to see if loader frame has been sprung, hyd leaks I also check fluids and pull air cleaner out to see if dirt has been getting past filter seal and then I do a test run 15-30 minutes to see if machine works properly when warmed up |
