Per mEl, I am guessing Hy Tran Ultra is an automatic transmission fluid. Per the Case book our '63 830 used ATF, the red stuff. Oddly enough I had a 1976 Dodge pick up that used ATF in the differential. Drove it 100,000+ miles with no problem.

| Hey Jim, want to buy a 61',831 COM? 500 bucks takes it home. A guy SW of me has one sitting in the pasture. Said the injection pump went bad, so he just parked it.
