First of all where is the LO/High gear selector? I have looked but not seen it. Also how do you select the PTO speed between 540 and 1000. Lastly, I noticed there are two places it looks like the PTO shaft can go can you stick a pto shaft in either place, or is one for 1000 rpm, and other for 540? Right now I have a 540 splined pto shaft in the upper spot.
Thanks, I do not have a manual for this tractor yet.

| Usually they had two permanent shafts if they were 540/1000 equipped (hence the second panel) . No speed change otherwise on these tractors. Post/search on the IH side. I don't think it was "too hard" to add 1000 rpm if I recall correctly.
