Friend & I were wondering where Case has built their skidsteers over the yrs . Were they made in more than one factory ? Did they buy an existing line of them ? Thanks for the help.

They produce them in Wichita Kansas and who knows where else.

The UniLoader name came from "Universal Industries" product lines. Uni Mill hammermill..very few if any sold, Uni Weigh system..a CMC (Waterloo, IA) cement mixer truck mixer (only) combined with a scale and conveyor. Uni Tran, a short belt conveyor that fed bucket elevators with no pit, conveyor swung under trucks. Well you get the idea of "Uni--" Case bought the tooling, spare parts, several units and the name and took it to new heights. Leonard

Case bought the Universal UniLoader from Gail Bonneson in 1969. Gail bought a wimpier unit from someone in MN for resale with his bulk fertilizer handling equipment line, but producer couldn't keep up and sold to Gail's Universal Industries. Considereable beefing up of unit design and production for 4-5 years ? was done in the building in Hudson, Iowa that Harry Heisler (aftermarket soup-up tractor stuff)had used. When Case indicated they would also get into the skid-steer biz, Gail decided it was best to sell instead of bucking the big boys. Leonard (retired employee of Universal Industries)
