Picture of restored tractor seat.

Here's a pic of the tractor seat that I asked questions about in a former message. I got some good advice here on where to get it repaired and followed up with the great Minn-Kota company. They did a wonderful job of installing new bushings and rubber springs and the seat now works like a charm. I haven't painted it yet, but that will happen later, I'm sure.

If you need anything like this, contact Terry at Minn-Kota and you'll be in for a positive treat.

Yes, this is on a 1954 (my guess) VAC 14 Case tractor. I recently rebuilt the engine from the crankshaft on out. It still has the original 6 volt electrical system and this old girl starts up faster and better than any other tractor I own, including a brand new one. Go figure.

Now I'd like to wire up the lights but I haven't decided whether or not to include the complicated three stage light switch that was original on this tractor.

Do you have a VAC 14? If so, maybe you can offer some advice to this novice. I love working on these old workhorses!
