I finally have gotten into tearing my C down got it split and this afternoon got the crank pulled and low and be hold the front and rear mains just fell out both out og the block and caps. The middle one isn't loose though. Is this common? This is the first time for me to be into one of these engines so its new to me. Thanks for any info. |

| middle main is the thrust, the flanges hold it in, it will come out with a little effort, keep track of the shims! |

| Thanks for the tip I found that the cap had already come out of the block after looking at it again I lost some track of the shims but some are still on the caps I'll have to deal with that later :>( Got the pistons out today and put a sleeve puller on it that I pieced together and used 3/4 inch all thread I tried 2 sleeves and neither would budge I made sure I wasnt setting the puller on top of the sleeves either. Going to have a time with them I am afraid. |
