one other thing that works good, is to install a key or push button starter switch. put a solenoid off an old ford truck and wire to your 6 volt starter. i like the push button and a kill button for a mag. with a coil, you might do it with a key switch, or a toggle and push button.

James, send me an e-mail and i will send you a diagram. Might be able to find one of Dueys on this page also. 12 volt is nothing complicated. use the same wireing diagram as the 6 volt. remove the 3 way light switch wire to generator and the generator cut out switch, and install the alternator. any alternator with an internal voltage regulator is o.k. (simplier wiring if internal). spotter@frontiernet.net

I need help with rewiring a WD45. Do you have a wiring diagram? I'm restoring a 1956 and the wiring is completely shot. It has the voltage regulator conversion instead of the relay, but going back to the original is preferrable.

Thanks,
