I don't let anything get > 6" or so, give or take, before I mow it, so, we're not talking about taking out full fields of mature tall grass. More maintenance mowing on existing alfalfa, clover food plots, and some open areas that I keep lower...
The Woods would be great, but they're pricey.
Hoping this all goes well...Sounds like fun.

| By the way my partner uses my belly mount sickle mower on his A/C C and he uses it to mow all his hay. Does a pretty good job of it to. I use a sickle bar mower or did last year to mow my hay with is on my Farmall BA which is a hybrid tractor being half B and half A
|
