All the head lights I have messed with on the B and C the light had a bolt on it that then screwed into the grill area |

| The light has a hollow threaded stud. It does not screw into the rad shroud as there is no place to tap threads. There are jam nuts on both sides of the rad shroud. |

| Guess you got one that was messed up. ALL the Cs and Bs I have had the bolt or stud just screwed into the grill area |

| Maybe on something of yours. But originally there was a little threaded piece of metal spot welded to the inside of the radiator flange. |
