Olztimers memory says there were two versions re the pedal. OK....early version, used before the WC had the traction release lever......casting on the lift housing had 'notches'....so with a handle, you could crank up the cultivator, or lister, when you dumped it in a bad spot, like.....up against a freaking fence, etc!!!!!!
