I got a 52 B that had a cheap aftermarket 3 pt on it, that was rated at 250 lbs. That rating seemed useless to me , so I bought 2 ford arms, replaced the rockshaft, with a larger diameter shaft, replaced the cylinder, with a 3"x8" cylinder, that was rated for 3000 psi. In later yrs I put a front pump on it, and went to double acting cylinders, and a control valve on the fender. I now haul large round bales, out of the barn, and feed cows with a 3pt hay spear. WARNING use enough weight on the front! I carry 200 lbs of steel weight, and both front tires are loaded with calcium. |
