If so and it's in a good state of tune and not an excessive oil burner I would suggest Autolite 303. But 295s also work great and is what you should use if by chance you are running a magneto. I clean then regap them and put them in a different cylinder and go with it. It has had a hay rake on it for the last 2 or 3 years. Walked by it just the other day and turn the gas on and it started right up and it has been sitting in the filed since May when I did the hay this year   [Reply]  [No Email]

Your right Old , my wd45 also sits for months and fires right up -- a little choke and away she goes . I just have a straight pipe and I love the bark from that crater engine.   [Reply]  [No Email]

Had the same experiences with them in a JD.. About twisted some off, getting them out.. Really thought I would at least bend the 1/2" breaker-bar.. Ron..   [Reply]  [No Email]

Shoot some times I have the opposite problem and forget to tighten them enough and have them blow out and when that happens they can be hard to find LOL   [Reply]  [No Email]

I do have a habit of getting things "MAN_Tight"...don't usually have bolts come loose either, but those Champs sometimes seem to seize in the threads and really can be severely hard to wrench out..ALL the way out..they Squeak and Squal all the way, each time you force them to move and you'd bet there were not going to be any threads when you get it out...
