Hope it's warmer in your shed for measuring than in mine. It does appear that axle location and tongue length on the trailer will be critical to hauling one on an eight-foot trailer bed. leon 01-26-2013 14:37:40 173.30.193.163 Report to Moderator	Re: G wheelbase in reply to Lonnie Smith, 01-26-2013 13:24:00   So while you're out measuring, with just the drawbar on the rear of the tractor, no rear cultivator gang, how tall could front rail on a trailer be for the tractor to back over the rail until the rail hit the rear tires? I'm working on trailer weight distribution. If I try to haul a G on an 8 foot trailer bed, it's sort of like putting 5 pounds into a 2 pound box - a 116" long tractor on a 96" long trailer bed! Back of rear tires to front of front tires must be about 99" - just 3" longer than the trailer bed! Not much wiggle room!   [Reply]  [No Email]
