| Well its a duel fuel. Try looking on the face that mounts against the manifold for a stamped in number. Might be near one of the studs. I can't get agcopartsbooks.com to open right now, but I NO not think it is exactly the one used on the WD45, as it has an extra chunk of metal between the lower LP area and the T that has the throttle in the end of it and the gasoline portion on the side (IF I recall correct). Still very valuable, and much more so for what it is than for brass. |

| | I think that means Kg1 is a LP only, if memory serves. What I can't answer for original68 is: 1) if the carb he has IS the kgn1 for the WD45. For some reason I don't recall the books I've seen showing the spacer between the LP lower ave portion, and the body that mounts to the manifold. 2) what size top opining the ensign Kng1 for the 45 had. I'd guess Original68's is 1" form the 1" Kngl he gave us, but I don't know about correct for the 45. AND I thought I read here at yt that ensign had more than one size in all Kngl's. |

| Hum. I looked back at the archives here on the Allis board, and found where I once quoted out of the I&T book that the ensign model was kgn1 or kg1. If you have a copy, you can look to see what they say the kgn1 and kg1 look like (I think one may be LPG only) but I don't have access to one presently. BUT I was able to get the AC parts book to open, and you will see that there it lacks the spacer I mentioned. See link. So at this point I'd best bow back and let someone more knowledgeable help you, as I just don't know. I will go on to add though that I just pulled up the Nb test and it states that the carb size was 1", but I don't see where it says the ensign model. |
