I just traded for a couple of Allis tractors, a C with a B front end on it and a B parts tractor. I would like to put the C back to a narrow front, the current setup is pretty ugly and rough. The C steering rod(the "chicken roost") was cut and welded to the B front end rod, so I think I need the C rod and the C front pedestal assembly. If anyone has a lead on those parts or know if there are other parts I also need I would be very thankful. I think that the front rims will swap over but I am not sure. I will get some pictures soon. | I am wondering what the rod behind the seat on the C is for, if it was part of the cultivator or something. I have never seen a Monroe seat with the spring pointing up like that, but it seems to be the way it was made from what I have found online. I am going to put the radiator from the B on the C since the C engine is ready to run and the B engine has a big hole in the block. Then I will part out the rest of the B. Zach |

| THe bar behind the seat is called the rock shaft. It normally has two arms attached to it. Serves the same purpose as the lifting arms on a 3 point hitch. ON the Allis, you pin the plow, disc, blade under the transmission, and the two arms on the rock shaft "lift" the attachement when connected to a cylinder. |

| You do not need a lead you just need a way to pick them up. I have 1 maybe 2 C front ends laying around and had a guy looking for the C steering rod so I know I have it since he never got back to me on it. E-Mail is open as always |
