2 common reasons for that problem are incorrect oil filter I use WIX57011 filters or the filter tube that goes up into the filter being missing due to the fact it stayed on the filter when a person changed oil

| I changed the oil filter-because it was painted over but it had the fram C159 on it & the tube was there. The gauge looks new.

| My have a bad new gauge or the wrong gauge. The A/C oil systems are low pressure systems so having a gauge to reads say 0-30 is incorrect and will give false readings so you need the correct A/C type gauge. Even when brand new the engine is lucky to have mush if any more then 15PSI
