Eldon has it right, remove the radiator and all sheet metal. I find it easier to split the steering shaft at the u-joint and slide the steering wheel back. That give some extra clearance for the right side block ears to clear. 4 bolts in the back, 2 under the front and slide the engine forward and out. Good time to check the lower rad hose and fan belt as the lower rad hose has to come out to do the fan belt anyway. Bellhousing isn't made for the clutch to come out the bottom. I found a trick using a 3/8 long extension and a 3/4 socket to get the rad bolts out. If you can't find my posts on it here ina s earch, let me know and I'll describe it again.
