My WD with the freeman loader is leaking way to much. The cylinder shafts are 1.5 " and look great. Does anyone have info on where to get seals or should I just pull apart and take the samples to a cylinder shop? thanks

The packing is replaceable but are you out of travel on the packing gland? It can be snugged up for years more service if the nut isn't tight against the gland.

You can get them from and AGCO dealer. I"ve rebuilt two sets in the last month. now both may loaders have new seals and don"t leak. it was around $15.00 per set. I don"t know why you wouldn"t just get them from AGCO they come as a set and you need to pull the cylinder apart to install them correctly. The hardest part is getting the snapring off the bottom of the piston. they are v shaped leather seals so soak in oil befor installing. the last pair only took me a hour to do both rams. the ones i took out had been cut to slide over the ram without removing the piston but they have always leaked alittle.

Baum Hydraulics...but first..you're going to
need to know the type of seal, or packing, and
the size's..Inside and outside diameters, and
thickness.
