Talked to my dad again to day, and he thinks he"ll try to flush the block out (who knows when he"ll do so, as he has plenty of other tractors to use) but he got to looking at the carb today whale we were talking, and realized it looks like it"s got a wd45 carb. Could that cause the over heating, and if so is it possible to Adjust so it won"t over heat, or do we need to look at our spare carbs and see if we have a WD carb? |

| If the engine is getting hot, check the Upper AND lower radiator hoses and see if they Both are Hot... If not..coolant is not circulating... May be a radiator that needs Rodded... Ron.. |

| With the block partially filled take an air hose and blow air into the block drain--boy does that stir things up and get the crud out. |

| Only way a carb can make one run hot at all is if it is running very lean and even then not likely |

| Really doubt it. Lot of WD's running 45 carbs and unless you know for sure, it might well have a 45 crank in it. Flush the block and radiator, install a thermostat and all should be well.

| That's about what were hoping. I'd say it's a 50-50 to what crank and pistons are in this WD...sure don't want to have reason to find out any time soon...hence why we should get the cooling situation straight. |
