Made a guide above the U-joint like a styled WC. Turn the shaft to the center of tractor. Put on another U-joint then weld another guide to the bottom of the motor mount angle iron. Then on to rack & pinion. I had already replaced the steering rod w/ high strength tubing which probably made it easier. Doing that loses about 20 lbs. Those rods are HEAVY. Hope this helps.
