Trying to find out if my tractor uses a distributor or magneto. It doesn't have the housing on it. Trying to find which one I need to get, and trying to find one. The s.n. is 15146. I am assuming it is a '52. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely had mag originally, but who knows what has been done to it over its 60 year life.
I bought a 52 in 08. It has a Delco dist conversion on it. Even came with original owner's manual & spec/instruction folder for the conversion. BTW, spec folder says same conversion kit also fits Allis A, B, C, WD, Farmall letter series & some Case models

It should be a distributor, most CA's had distributors. My 52 CA does.
