Drak 08-24-2012 08:04:15 159.0.76.192 Report to Moderator	Gents My Allis C has an issue and I cant work out what it could be ? it starts fine and sounds good, but take it for a drive and after one mile or so it reves up starts knocking and stops,"its asif the engine has siezed" after 5 minutes or so it starts back up and will drive a little before repeating and stops, I thought it was the magnito and had it completely refurbished but with no avail, no water in the oil and no oil in the water and tempreture is normal when she stops. Has eny one had this problem before ?? There is a wine in the gearbox probably the main bearing and I was wondering if this could be the problem if the bearing siezes up stoping the engine from turning and giving the impression that the engine has siezed ?? if the big ends are worn would this cause this problem ? or coulfd it be a stuck valve?? With out the spear, it won't build pressure. 2. Drop the oil pan, and see if the oil suction screen is blocked, or has an obstruction, that blocks it, when said obstruction is sucked up against it. While you have it apart, check the suction pipe for looseness, and the bearings, for evidence of wear. [Reply]  [No Email]

He said the red light came on and then it started knocking and quit. He said it started back up and the oil light stayed on. He was able to drive it to a station and filled it back up with oil but the red light wouldn't stay off when it was full of oil. I told him he had one thing missing and that was a recording hooked up so when the light came on it would say (Hey Boy, you just screwed up) [Reply]  [No Email]

She told us that the red light came on and than all at once the car died and could we go and fix it for her. The red light was the oil light and when towed in the dip stick did not show so much as a drop of oil on it and when we drained the pan it had less then a quart of oil and we said yep we can fix it but it would take 2 weeks and cost $2500 or more [Reply]  [No Email]
