Single fronts were popular in the Idaho area back in the day. I'd say that's where you need to look.

Pretty hard to find, especially if you want the original for a WC. That would be the one piece fork, not the bolt-on fork that goes on the WD/WD45, often called the corn picker front. I have the cp front, but still looking for the axle and wheel. Bolt-on fork will mount to the WD wide front steering box. Outwardly they"ll look the same, but a purist would peek underneath and see the difference.

When I say WC original single front, one-piece fork....the fork and the shaft that goes up into the steering box is one piece, and the steering box is specific for that single front wheel. My guess is you could find a rare cast wide front for a WC sooner than an original WC single front- just cuz of the numbers having been produced, of each of them. I would guess Southern states might have more than Northern, because of their cropping history. But still hard to find. I could put mine on my Model RC, and it would be quite the parade tractor, but technically, my single front would not be factory correct. (Yeah, I"d still do it! I can make the axle, just need to find the wheel and hub).

I would think it would be very hard to find a single wheel front end for a WC.
