Wide Front, no power steering. Sometimes it appears to bind a little and be very hard to continue turning the wheel. Have lubricated all zerks and tie rod ends. No apparent interferences. Could there be something worn or out of adjustment below the cover plate in the cast steel box housing the steering gear(s)? |

| I overlooked the wide front part first read. I'd suspect something in the spindles as well. Old has the right idea.

| The U-joint is about one year old and lubricated. However?............it could be. I may take it off & check it. It just started doing it yesterday. |

| I am trying to remember something about that U-Joint and how it mounts and all that has to do with it hanging up. Something about the mount in that area if it gets loose or some such thing will cause problems BTDT |

| Could also be the u-joint along side the engine binding as well.

| Jack up both sides and check for slop in the spindles and also spin it all the way left then right and check/feel for it binding some place. With weight on it you can not feel for worn parts and that is why when they inspect a car they jack them up and look for play in ball joints etc |

| Could it be the tie rod ends? They are really worn & sloppy. |
