Nick around here we no longer have a close allis dealer. the closest is either greensburg or rusheville. But there is more I-H dealers left than allis so people around here are more familiar with farmalls. Dont be discouraged. Ive used both and almost bought an M for my first tractor .There are so many suburbanites around here that you should get a reasonable price for them.Any brand of tractor is good if you can accept the model or brands quirks or flaws. Plus dealer support. The auto and rv free books that come out each week has one for$2,200.oo with a 59" woods mower.another with same size mower for $1,995.oo Hope this helps.

This is the Allis forum which is an orange tractor not a red one. You will get better help down in the Farmall forum. Some one down there might even post the Cub club area so you can get even more help.
Sorry if I seem blunt but orange and red do not get along well LOL

The F is a prefix used on the Farmall tractors to indicate it is a Farmall not an IH tractor.
Sort of like the AC used on the Allis tractors
