I know what you mean about a challenge. I did one on a 175 allis and it worked out fine. I used a water pump seal and bought a bearing off of eBay for two dollars. The job cost me 12 dollars instead of 250 from dealer. I simply will not be ripped off. Well worth the two hours that I spent. Good luck, it can be done.

I learned a good number of year ago that with out ALL the right equipment your better off buying a rebuilt one or a new one. To be able to rebuild one you need the correct press and the correct dies or you will end up with a broken housing and then what you have is scrap iron and that means no core and a core can in turn cost you an extra $25 or more. I tried to rebuild 1 water pump and it cost me $75 for a core. Ya not a B pump but I learned a big lesson

You will probably find that you might need machine work done to the pump housing and with that cost added to parts you will probably be alot better off buying a pump.
Give Tony at tonystractors.com a call for a pump.

I Know that many time its not worth rebuilding your own but in this case the housing has some damage which is repairable but useless as a core.
Do have tools needed for this job and have done a few. Do also enjoy the challenge. Appreciate your concerns and am grateful, thanks guys. We used to be able to buy these parts direct from the dealers but not no more.

See If AGCO has the parts.
Dealer locator link to find a dealer close to you.
You can also call Sandy Lake Implement.
Brenda or Bette in parts will tell you if AGCO has the parts.

AGCO had the sealed bearing about 6 yrs ago when I rebuild mine. Remembering back I think the seal is integrated into the bearing. AGCO can also get the carbon ring as well. Not too difficult to rebuild if you take your time. The only problem I had was a hairline crack on the outside when I drilled two of the screws that hold the back plate on. Brazed it up and it works just fine.

I just talked to my AGCO dealer about some parts I need and he said AGCO still have the rebuild parts for the water pump.
