Hello,

I have been told this drawbar is for an Allis Chalmers B. The turnbuckle is for fender support.

I would like to know if you agree before I put it on Photo Ads.

What is a fair price to put on it.

There is another photo on Community Album.

Thanks,

Dell

How To Tell The Difference in reply to Dellbertt, 11-22-2009 16:36:46
How to tell the difference at a glance. The back one being a C and the one in front being a B. Both have the same number of holes in the drawbar.

I should have included that it is 32" OD at the mounts.

Thanks,

Dell

The B drawbar is 32" on the outside and the C is 46.5" on the outside of the monting holes on the ends.

No question, definitely a "B".

At first I thought it was a B drawbar, but in looking at it I think the curve is the more shallow one of a C. A B drawbar is very horseshoe shaped. That looks more like a B. Another picture shot from directly above would let us know for sure.

That be a B drawbar. Not a lot. I have several and I don't see a big demand here. If needed most would probably some wheres between 20 and 40 bucks.

Dick; do you think that might be a "C" drawbar? Seems like my B is enough narrower it only has 5 holes instead of 7. But I would have to go looking and measuring to be sure.

All 3 of my B's have 7 holes in the drawbar.

I have tried to refrain from commenting unless I go look, measure, etc. as I have seen some misled on here. I guess I better stay with that policy. I just don't remember like I used to. Just happened to look at my B- 7 holes!

Bob you might be right but with out looking/counting I can not be sure and since I only have Cs and no Bs I could still only guess
