I'm looking for a loader that would fit a Allis Chalmers C. I'm not sure what I need, but I have a belly mower on it now and would like to keep the mower on. I assume I could get a valve to shut off flow from the pump.I live 35 miles east of St Louis. Let me know |

| I have a Modle 14 loader on my CA. It was on a C. The Hydraulics on a C are too slow. It will Lift more than it should, even with weighted tires. It also gets used a lot more than My WD45 loader the small size makes for a very handy tractor. with a load on the loader you need the Armstrong steering upgrade. |

| | That’s not what I wanted to hear. Is it loader or the pump? If it’s the pump, is there a replacement that could fit? My other choices are a Ford 8N at the land I’m going to use it on, but it hasn’t ran in 6 years and over heated then. Would a loader be enough? I mainly need it for rock and such. I may be able to get a WD-45 with a loader cheap for where I need it at. Then I can try to sell the 8N. |

| Neither an 8N or the C make much of a loader tractor. Both are just plain to light to do much with at around 2100lbs for the C and around 2500lbs for the 8N. Another problem is NO power steering and a loader make one VERY hard to steer. So both tractors are a bit better then a wheel barrow but that is about it. A WD45 isn't a lot better either for that matter just not set up well for a loader plus most have the trike front and loaders and trikes do not mix well either |

| Yep they made them but that is pretty much all you can say for one other then it beats a wheel barrow. The C is a very light tractor so a loader will work but not for much of any thing heavy. Oh and they are few and far between and hard to find. I did build a lift set up on my C for a snow plow and it is handy for stuff up to around 500lbs |
