This tractor was my Great Grandfathers new in 1952. It was the last one shipped to Angola, Indiana in October of 1951. It was purchased in February of 1952 and operated cultivators on the family farm located in Orland Indiana. In 1964, it was sold at the farm auction and purchased by his son. From there, it traveled 6 miles to his farm and parked in the late 1980's with a large hole in the manifold. The owner felt that it was not worth putting any money into it and left it parked in a barn. The family lost track of where it was located and stored until a few years ago. My oldest son had the desire to restore an old tractor as I had done when I was 13. The tractor owner and I could not agree on a fair price due to the extent of the work that needed to be done. I was being bothered every day by him wanting to get a project going for himself. When my son passed in August of 2008 unexpectedly, I felt that we needed to make this project reality. I bought the tractor at my offered price and found a new manifold in a box next to the tractor. The owner stated that he had purchased many new parts however with him in his late 60's, never installed anything. He felt it would be an item for restoration at a later time.
New manifold being installed. The top end of the engine was reworked at this time as well. The valves were about .70 out of spec and it didn't like to run.

There's a lag in time from when the transfer finishes and the link gets put into the box. It's because that photo posting is a separate web page, it loads and fires of the script. If updated first, the photo appears to never have been updated. Solution coming.
We managed to get the R and the B in the local parade. It didn't take long to realize that the crowd liked what we brought. The R was loud with that chrome stack, and the B was complete and running smooth.
