Mary Ann wrote on Monday, August 20, 2007 (PDT):I had forgotten all about this until I saw the picture of the View Mobile and the memories came back to me. I was 10 in 1960 when we moved to Colorado. I have such fond memories of Buffalo, but Niagara Falls holds a very special place in my heart. I have been back many times as it is just magical there!
Gary & Sarge wrote on Friday, January 02, 2009 (PST):It is nice to see you are finally doing something creative for once, He Hee Heeee ,) !!!!! That shop also made 2 busses for the collection of money at the various garages. This shop also made a bus from scratch with a rear, behind the rear axle exit. This came about from the numerous people that slipped under the bus and where killed in the 50's & 60"s. I know this because my Dad, Edward Chiz, had to go under a bus in the winter and jack the bus up and off a woman who was killed but not completely run over. There was some very talented people who worked in the shops way back when. GM would send us busses for us to see what we thought and how they could be improved. Ed Tanski was given the credit for the work the men did. Surprized to seee you on this Board, Mark. From a Happy Retired Worker, Gary E. Chiz Nice to talk with you ,)
