Basil wrote on Sunday, January 26, 2003 (PST): This story reminded me of my life on my family farm in Indiana. I remember working on tractors several times, not usually for fun,but I still enjoyed it. My family have always been Farmall people. My father's engagement present to my mother was a 1943 Farmall H. Thank-you for returning some old memories to a former farm boy. Keep up the good work and if you every need any advice, email me anytime.

Rusty Jones wrote on Saturday, February 26, 2011 (PST): I have heard that putting automatic transmission oil in the cylinders will tend to free up stuck pistons. As for penetrating oil, try PB Blaster. It will loosen your mothers purse strings, as well of lots of rusty parts! Don't spend your money on WD 40. A waste of time.

Sounds like this could be rewarding for you now by always learning and later by achieving a goal. Let us know how you did and what model or any more history of the tractor. Enjoy your hobby!
