  • Seeing this article bought back memories of when my father worked for the Kent River Authority. They had one of these mounted on a Ford 4000(i think). This Webb had a minimal cab so basically the operator still got soaked. It was used at Pumping stations to clear weed. Unfortunately I can find no pictures of the machine. It was based at a depot at Plucks Gutter, East Stourmouth, Nr Canterbury, Kent.
