the problem with blowing through a gas carb is that the fuel pressure is directly linked to boost, Mel could explain this better but as boost increases you need more fuel pressure and it becomes a viscious cycle unless you put the carb in a pressurized box, an lp carb doesn't have a needle and seat so it isn't an issue with lp
