I plan on using 970 heads. My VERY early 970 sn number 8650012 had larger wrist pins. I pulled the original rod bearings out dated OCT 69. Just need to find an intake for the 870 diesel. gas cams have a shorter duration from what I have read. Intake is open longer on diesels to max out air into combustion chamber.
