I know this may sound silly but I was running the plain green anti-freeze in my 1370 and after a little info from Agri-king I switched to the premix with the additive for diesel engines.
At about the same time I finally got to fix my bigger disk so I switched from pulling an 18ft disk with the tractor to pulling my 22ft disk.
The tractor runs cooler with the new anti-freeze pulling a bigger disk in the same gear.
The only thing I can think of is the regular green stuff either breaks down quicker or just isn’t as good, either way it was an interesting lesson.
Go with the better grade anti-freeze (Premix from Case with the additive for diesels)
