Not sure about your 3pt problem, but when you are dealing with Timkin tapered bearings you always adjust to no play and then tighten a bit to preload them. Not sure what service manual you have, or what a Case manual would say, (either a fraction of a turn tighter or a rolling torque in inch pounds or ft.lbs. To adjust the bearings you will need to pull the drawbar, drop the drawbar assy, Don't remove, Remove it totally from tractor. The leaf springs will support the assy. The complete hyd/PTO housing will have to be removed to acess the nuts on the bull gears/ end of axles. A over head, or cherry picker and a 3' peice of pipe that slides over the PTO shaft works well to remome and reinstall the housing. Tighten bearings with the big nuts, after straightening the washer tabs. Rotate each axle to check for smoth rotation, then tighten to specs. and rebend the tabs. PS you will need at least 3 5gal buckets to drain the tranny. Be sure to move the full buckets from under the tranny, before you remove the last bolt on the drawbar assy., and it rotates down on it's own. BTDT, big mess. Then reassemble. Loren
