Here is my 12 volt conversion on my Case 311. The bottom bracket is an off the shelf part. Mr Gasket # is 720-9850, but you can get non chrome ones, too. I had to use some washers & spacers on the bottom to get the pulley to line up straight. The upper bracket is similar to the one in the pic. Mr. Gasket # 865-4723. I used some old stuff I had laying around, but you can buy this stuff easily if needed. I cut it off and drilled a hole where indicated to bolt it to the front of the block. When it's all done there is almost NO adjustment. I have to hold it up, hook the belt into the pulley and then slide the bottom bolt through all the washers & spacers. Can't remember if I had to buy a longer belt or not, but I don't think so. Big green wire goes to the Amp guage, and then to the battery. One small wire loops around to the BAT terminal and the other goes to hot off of the key switch. After that, reverse the wires on the coil and add a ballast resistor if still using the 6v coil. I hope this helps some folks out there.
