My sister had dropped me and brother off at the field , and Roared off to other demands ...it was a cool morning , 800 fortunately was on top of the hill,,, from the 1st 10seconds of cranking , WE could tell the battery would weakensoon .. So released the Brakes , opened valves with Decompressor , Placed in6th gear , set throttle at full , engaged direct drive , While rolling engaged starter , When i felt tranny drag pickup and momentum was strong , dumped the decompressor all the while cranking engine , And THE LADY WAS a RUNNIN ...... Shoo-weesh . that saved us a walk back to the farm..
