It is certainly an honor for the entire staff at Aumann Auctions to
be asked to conduct such a prestigious auction. We were very impressed
with this collection of tractors, but no nearly as impressed as we
were with the man that owned them. Ed Spiess was the epitome of what
farm tractor collectors are. He was always willing to help a fellow
collector and you could see the excitement build in him when he talked
tractors. As much as Ed loved these tractors, I am sure that he would
be very happy to know that they will find new homes to people who
appreciate them as much as he did.
