My Uncle and the G | This is about 7 years ago now but my Grandpa just bought his John Deere G and he kept it at my aunt and uncles place by minnetrista Mn they have a hobby farm their and my uncle went to use the G once he got it fired up I dont remember if he was plowing or disking but he went into some ground that was still pretty wet and got it stuck in there they tryed to dig it out and put boards under the rear wheels but it didnt work I wasnt there but I guess he was freakin out pretty bad cuz he would either have to call a tow truck from town or cal my Grandpa so he called my Grandpa and he got of work early came out there fired the G up and I guess he backed it right out in my opinion it must help to have experience with the machinery your using to get the job done right this summer sometime the G will come out here to be put inside and when I get it out here I hope I have better luck than my uncle did with it it needs some work now the wiring is kinda bad now from being out in the elements and it could probably use a overhaul but that will wait for a while now when the battery is charged it still fires right up after you clean an electrical connection or two. remember nothing runs like a deere or stalls like a Farmall/farmstall.
