I Couldnt Believe It | I'm 14 years old. My Grandpa owned a little hobby farm and my favorite things on that farm was the John Deere 50 and the Ford 900 with loader. when I was 12 he let me drive the 50 while baling hay a little a I loved that. I always liked baling hay even though my job was on the wagon. That next spring my grand pa passed away and I was left the JD 50. It sat in a shed by my old house for about a year and then one day My dad drove it over to our farm and I washed it up. A friend of ours pained it up for me. So It was at my house then I had to fix the back light. Well it hasnt been fixed yet. Then I was having problems shifting into 3, 5, and 6. That was fixed one day when the tractor wouldnt start so we pull started it and the shifting worked. So the we did a little work on the starter, got a solenoid, got new battery ends, and got one new battery and it starts fine now. Now its leaking in 3 different places. So I want to take it over to our farm and work on it a give it regular maintence. Then I'll use it to work on our farm. Thats my favorite story of all time. At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
