Careful What You Ask For | I grew up on a farm in Nort Texas. Dad welded a sweep on my first tricycle so I could 'plow' with him. I remember when I was about ten asking when I could start driving a tractor. He told me that his dad told him he had to raise a garden first. All went as planned until the potatoe plant was about 8' tall -- one day I checked it and the potatoe beetles had left just a nub about 2' high. I thought about that garden one evening a few years later when I was plowing with a JD 730 and I could see the lights of the baseball field where my best friend and my ex-girlfriend were watching the game.
