D15II Done in by MOUSE | I bought my tractor on fathers day. It ran great, but by the summer it began not pulling very good. By early fall it would hardly pull itself in 1st low range. I was sure it was the Power Director.(engine clutch was replaced earlier.) After several months of waiting for good weather, I checked the PD according to manual. I noticed during this that the throw-out bearing was riding on the pressure plate fingers. SO I adjusted the clutch rod off the pedal to compensate. NO GOOD there. Found a mouse nest in Bellhousing so big that it would bind up behind throw-out bearing and actually keep my foot clutch from totally engaging. Took almost 2 hours to pry old mouse stuff out of bearing. Now the old D15 jumps like a mule when put in gear. WHO'D A THOUGHT !! Henry P, MO, entered 2007-04-08 My Email Address: Not Displayed |
